This lithium-ion battery has a high capacity and can power all Sony video cameras that use BP-U batteries, including newer models such as PXW-Z190, PXW-Z280, PXW-FX6, and PXW-FX9.

The HED-BP95D features both an external USB 5V/5W/1A power output and a dual D-TAP DC 14.4V output, capable of delivering 115W/8A to all professional external devices.

The battery’s dual D-Tap DC output is located at the top of the battery. With this external power supply feature, you can connect two additional products, such as LED lights, a wireless transmitter, or an external recorder, so they can all receive power while the battery is attached to the camera.

The opposing orientation of the D-TAP ports provides more flexibility in daily operation. The maximum power output from the two D-Taps is 95W.

The HED-BP95D includes a built-in 4-LED Power Meter, which, when a button is pressed, shows the remaining battery percentage at 100%, 75%, 50%, or 25%.

The battery's USB 5V/1A output can be used to power external USB devices. This feature allows you to use the HED-BP95D as a power station to charge your mobile phone, tablet, or other electronic devices that can be powered by USB 5V.

And, using the battery's built-in data communication chip, the battery syncs with the video camera to display the exact power percentage on your camera's LCD screen.
